The Chinese designer and manufacturer of consumer electronics and related software, Xiaomi, is set to unveil a new Xiaomi MIX series by 2022.
Reports revealed that the new Xiaomi MIX series would be the strongest folding screen MIX FOLD successor of all. Recall that earlier this year, the Chinese tech giant launched two MIX series models; one is MIX FOLD, and the other is MIX 4.
According to industry source Ross Young, the successor to Xiaomi’s MIX FOLD will be introduced in 2022, implying that Xiaomi’s new folding screen flagship will not qualify for the company’s December product press conference.
The yearly flagship Xiaomi Mi 12 and the MIUI 13 operating system will be unveiled at this event in December. Prior reports show that the new Xiaomi MIX FOLD’s iterative methodology primarily compensates for MIX FOLD’s shortcomings.
According to the blogger, the new Xiaomi MIX FOLD iteration model has a full-height screen and is equipped with under-screen camera technology.
Only the external screen of the Xiaomi MIX FOLD, screen size: of 6.52 inches, has a high refresh rate of 90Hz, while the interior screen has a refresh rate of 60Hz, screen size is 8.01 inches.
Both the internal and external screens of the Mi MIX FOLD iteration model appear to enable high refresh rates and use under-screen camera technologies.
With the under-screen camera technology, Xiaomi’s new flagship foldable screen will certainly provide a superior watching and gaming experience.
