Xiaomi is going to release its Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic on July 15, 2020, at 20:00 GMT+ 8. With two days to go, Xiaomi announced the launch of the earphones via its official Twitter handle. Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic from Xiaomi comes under the Ecosystem Product line from the hose of Xiaomi.
Judging by the name and appearance this could be a more affordable version of the previously launched Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 from Xiaomi. The teaser on Twitter also shows that the new Earphones 2 Basic has a similar appearance as Mi True Wireless Earphones 2.
However, there are some changes in the charging case. The earphones do not drop vertically into the case this time. Instead, they lay horizontally into the case while charging. Xiaomi launched Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 in India earlier this year at INR 4,499. The earphones could go on playing music for 14 long hours with an hour-long charge.
Apparently, reports speculate that the new toned-down version, Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic could have fewer playing hours as it could come with an affordable price tag. Xiaomi could also emit the noise cancellation feature and the LHDC Bluetooth codec support against its lesser price.
Nonetheless, Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 will be out on July 15. We have to wait till then to witness it ourselves.
On the other hand, Mi India is going to unveil a mysterious product on July 14. The official Mi India Twitter teased the product via a video on July 13, 2020. Following the teaser, the product could be a Mi Air Compressor Pump which will be launched in India. Xiaomi describes it as “Portable, wireless and risk- free”. Let’s wait till July 14 to discover what more the device has to offer.
