The new design of the MIUI For Xiaomi watch determines the rectangular design of the watches and the official report states that the watch is going to have a four-curved sapphire glass. The more curvy edges of the watch will indeed give it a sleek and sturdy look. The glass will be scratch-proof and the dial will be seamless.
The Xiaomi watch will also feature MIUI For the watch ecosystem with its own app store. It will have a Qualcomm Xiao long Wear 3100 processor, equipped with an independent linear motor. The Xiaomi watch will include independent speakers and a built-in high-capacity battery along with the support for independent Wi-Fi / Bluetooth, independent GPS, independent NFC, and eSIM virtual card.

E. g., it can play your favorite music, pay your bills online, act as your navigator, send and receive QQ information and more. What’s more amazing is that it can automatically import trips for you and you can use it as boarding passes or book a cab too!
Why the rectangular display?
As it was mentioned earlier, the new Xiaomi Miller MIUI watches will have a rectangular display with curvy edges instead of a circular one. While most of the Android watches prefer to have a circular display, why did Xiaomi chose to have a rectangular one?

Therefore they chose a design that will be both compatible as the display area and have a unique quality of its own. Moreover, the shape of the display doesn’t define the intelligence of the internal operating system. We still have to see that if the new Xiaomi watch lives up to its name or not.
