Good news for Xiaomi fans – the company has announced that Redmi Note 3, a budgeted smartphone in the Redmi series, will be available for general sale on April 27 at 2 PM IST.
Since the launch of Mi5, this is the second smartphone the company is bringing for users. Redmi Note 3 was first unveiled in December last year, with the original version running on a MediaTek processor and the one launched in India comes with a Qualcomm chip with the flagship Made in India banner.
The Redmi Note 3 packs with Snapdragon 650 SoC and has 6 inbuilt cores with four Cortex A53 cores at 1.4GHz and two newer Cortex A72 cores ruining on 1.8GHz 64-bit processor. Redmi Note 3 will be available in two storage variants: the base model has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage priced at Rs. 9,999, and the variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage comes at Rs. 11,999.
Xiaomi has a long tradition of selling the phone through flash sales with selected e-commerce sites, but this time, users can get Redmi Note 3 in hand without even registering on the website.
The beautifully designed phone with a full metal body weighs only 164g and has a 5.5-inch Full HD display, includes Sunlight Display, and Night Mode to avoid screen glare, and is enabled with Reading Mode.
On the camera part, Redmi Note 3 comes with a 16MP rear camera at the back with Phase Detection Autofocus and a 5MP camera on the front.
