Sony Mobiles has finally started sending out its invites for the MWC 2019 scheduled to be held between 25th and 28th February in Barcelona. The invite itself is possibly hinting at a new blue smartphone with a gradient finish.
With the invitations being sent out, speculations regarding Sony Mobiles’ possible line-up for MWC have started making the rounds. To begin with, it is expected that the company’s latest flagship device, Xperia XZ4, may be announced at the event. Based on the rumors, the device’s specs seem to include a 6.55-inch QHD+ OLED HDR display which has an aspect ratio of 21:9, 6 GB RAM and storage expandable up to 256 GB, and a 3,900 mAh battery which can be charged wirelessly. The device is expected to receive its power from a Snapdragon 855 SoC and may also sport a triple rear camera set-up.
Since Xperia XA3, XA3 Ultra, and L3 were not announced by Sony Mobiles at CES, it is being speculated that these devices may just be ushered in at MWC. Speculations suggest that the Xperia XA3 has been equipped with a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display, while the Xperia L3 may sport a 5.7-inch HD+ display with 3GB of RAM.
Sony Mobiles’ event for MWC 2019 has been scheduled to be held at Hall 4, Gran Via, Barcelona, from 8:15 AM CET (12:45 PM IST), on 25th February.
