YouTube is unarguably the best source of entertainment available these days. So many people spend their time surfing through funny videos, tutorials for different things, healthy recipes, fitness workouts, etc. This proves that YouTube is of so much use because the truth is that a lot of what we know or learn today is through YouTube. It helps us learning in all the fields by making it easier for us. YouTube is focusing on its web version to evolve itself more. YouTube is now coming up with more features for its web version like add to queue, quick playlist and channel icon below the video. It also highlights the images of one of the home videos. And offers a lot of features to allow you to chain videos simply.
New YouTube web design details
Images from one of the YouTube videos will take a little more space now, and the channel icons will be displayed below it. Now four elements will be displayed per line instead of five. And categories are better separated from each other through a general enlargement of the fonts.
Furthermore, a quick playlist feature is also added to the YouTube web. Right now, there is an option available, namely “Watch Later”, for adding videos in your YouTube watch later list. Now, a second option that appears on the YouTube web is “Add to playlist”. Through this, the videos are launched directly at the corner of the screen, and it is possible for you to add to the queue as many videos as you wish. You can create a queue of videos that you want to watch in a series.
But this queue will not be saved when you will close the browser.
More interestingly, if you don’t want any channel recommendation you can easily stop them. You just have to click on the three dots, and select “Don’t Recommend Channel”, and you are all set.
Moreover, you can also indicate your interests, for refining your recommendation list.
These new features will be available to you on the YouTube web version, as good as the mobile version. We can expect all-new features in the upcoming weeks.
