ZTE has officially launched the ZTE Axon 10 Pro and Axon 10 Pro 5G smartphones in China. Both the phones sport the same design, and share key internal hardware such as Snapdragon 855 and triple rear cameras among others, with the exception being 5G support.
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro and Axon 10 Pro 5G both feature a 6.47-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop notch. Both phones are powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It’s worth noting that the phone will be using an F2FS file system, in contrast to the EXT4 format which is widely used.
In the imaging department, the ZTE flagships feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture. It is assisted by a 20-megapixel wide angle sensor with 125-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture, accompanied by an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture.
The Axon 10 Pro additionally comes with NFC and can be connected to or charged via a USB Type-C port. Other connectivity options include WiFi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. The phone wins on Android Android 9.0 Pie with the company’s MiFavor 9.1 interface on top and is fuelled by a 4,000mAh with up to 18w fast charging and wireless charging.
The ZTE Axon 10 Pro has been launched in China in 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM configurations at 3,199 yuan (approx. Rs 32,750), 3,699 yuan (approx. Rs 37,900) and 4,199 yuan (approx. Rs 43,000). As for the ZTE Axon Pro 5G, the company has not revealed its pricing.
