ZTE fully utilized the Mobile World Congress 2019 stage and released its first 5G smartphone. The new smartphone is called ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G. This is not all ZTE had to offer at the MWC 2019. ZTE also announced the Blade V10, a mid-range smartphone. Both of the smartphones released by ZTE feature the latest and most contemporary features of today’s smartphone. If we compare these two phones, the Axon 10 Pro is better or more interesting than its release twin, the ZTE Blade V10.
As the name suggests, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G will support the next generation 5G connectivity. The ‘5G’s in the name should be considered important. ZTE is the first company to release a smartphone that will, in the future, be able to support the faster, fifth-generation mobile network. However, the 5G connection rollout will take some more time to finally roll out in the market. Even though there is no point in buying a 5G smartphone before the 5G connection is available and fully functioning. ZTE will still wield the throne of releasing the first 5G smartphone.
In terms of its appearance, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro sports what can be termed as the typical, contemporary design. It sports an edge-to-edge screen with a small teardrop notch on its display. The teardrop notch is the front-facing camera or the selfie camera. The back of the display houses a triple-sensor camera. As for its fingerprint sensor is located under the display, like the Galaxy S10 and the OnePlus 6T. The Axon 10 Pro runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with the X50 modem to enable the 5G connectivity. The Axon 10 Pro also features an AI performance engine that will take hold of the CPU, GPU, RAM, and ROM assignment.
The ZTE Blade V10 sports a similar design except for the larger chin bezel. It features the more conventional dual-lens sensor camera, one with 16 MP sensor and the other with 5 MP sensor for depth-sensing, and underneath the camera, there rests the fingerprint scanner. The front camera is of 32 megapixels and it comes with the “smart selfie” technology. It sports a 6.3 inches screen with Full HD resolution. ZTE Blade V10 will run on the octa-core 2.1 GHz processor. It houses the battery of 3,100 mAh capacity.
ZTE Axon 10 Pro will be available in the first half of 2019 in Europe and in China. The Blade V10 will be available in Black, Blue, or Green color in China, Europe, and in Latin America sometime in March.
