The latest ZTE phone, the Blade A7s is launched in China. In the previous version of the phone from the same line, the ZTE Blade A7 was launched in May 2019 in China. The latest one is an upgraded version of that which has a tall respect ratio, triple rear cameras and big battery as its selling points, and something which distinguishes it from the previous version.
ZTE Blade A7s comes with a 6.088-inch display and features a waterdrop notch. The aspect ratio of the smartphone is 19.5:9 which gives the phone the massive screen. The display features an HD+ resolution of 720x 1560 pixels.
The phone is on the light-weight side weighing just 164 grams. The sleek new smartphone runs on MiFavor 9.1 based Android 9 Pie OS and features a 4,000mAh battery, and ZTE claims that the battery can last up to 2 days on a single charge with 29 hours of local music playback, 15 hours of web browsing and 10 hours of online video playback. The right side of the smartphone features a distinctive red power button. As of now, the Blade A7s is available only in 4 GB RAM+ 64 GB storage versions.
The triple camera setup is mounted on the back of the smartphone with an LED flash. The setup consists of a 16 MP main lens with f/2.0 aperture, a 120-degree 8-megapixel superwide lens and a 2-megapixel lens for adding depth effects. The selfie camera, as and when compared to the rear camera, is a little on the basic side, so unlike all its contemporary smartphone, with a 5 MP camera with AI beautification features.
ZTE Blade A7s only has a face-recognition feature for unlocking the phone and does not have a fingerprint scanner placed on it.
The smartphone will officially go on sale Oct. 18 onwards but the consumers have the option of pre-ordering it at the price of 799 yuan. It is available in two colors, blue and black.
