Chinese company ZTE has given the world its first smartphone with a camera that fits under the display. Efforts had been made worldwide to achieve this and lot of prototypes were also developed. Major brands like Samsung, OPPO, and Xiaomi had tested the prototypes without much success. ZTE finally tasted success with the ZTE Axon 20 5G smartphone boasting the first under-screen camera technology.
This new advancement will grant the user access to maximum display space. Now the front camera will be available only when the necessity arises. Lets take a look at the overall features of the phone.

ZTE Axon 20 5G comes with a 6.92 inches FHD + OLED display. It weighs 198 g and comes with an aspect ratio of 20.5:9. The display has the novel under-display camera feature.

ZTE has provided its Axon 20 5G with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. It has a single prime core, and a single performance core, supported by 6 efficiency cores. The SoC consists of a 7 nm EUV process.
Storage
It comes in three storage variants: 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage
Camera
The rear camera module comes with a 64 MP main camera supported by an 8MP secondary camera sensor, a 2MP Tertiary and a 2MP Quarternary camera sensor. The phone has 32 MP selfie camera.
Battery
It is powered by a 4,220 mAh battery which has a 30W Quick Charge support.
Miscellaneous
The phone has 5G connectivity and runs on the MiFavor 10.5 UI based on Android 10
Pricing and Availability
The ZTE Axon 20 5G has been launched in four color variants: Blue, Black, Purple, and Orange.
The pricing differs based on the storage variant:
- The 6GB + 128GB variant costs CNY 2198 (INR 23,500)
- The 8GB + 128GB variant costs CNY 2498 (INR 26,750)
- And the 8GB + 256GB model costs CNY 2798 (INR 30,000)
As of now the ZTE Axon 20 5G smartphone is limited to the Chinese market.
