As per recent news, Huawei is about to receive its free 5G processors from Qualcomm. Earlier, Qualcomm had opted for a license with Huawei, as confirmed by the CEO of Qualcomm, Mollenkomf Stephen. Commenting on this he has further mentioned,
“There is a possibility that Qualcomm will supply Huawei its own processors without 5G support, which will allow the Chinese company to remain in the smartphone market.
However, any possibility of further progress with this collaborative endeavor still rests for a while concerning the fact that the US government has not yet approved of this joint feat. But that doesn’t eradicate any completion of a possible outcome, for now, especially looking back at recent hints.
Moreover, in the past, Huawei had received permission to work together with many other giant companies such as Intel, AMD, Samsung Display, and Sony. So there should not be any crisis concerning the new aimed collaboration. In fact, one can assume that the delay might result out from the current American presidential election that has reserved a major time and concern for now. Another, implication towards the possible points to the fact that over 300 such companies had applied for the license, and the majority of them have successfully been approved.
But that is now all to it for the license approval also comes with a back draw that can only be accessed if no 5G networking components are used by the supplied components of Huawei. And that is quite a major drawback recently. 5G system has become a possible aspiration for any mobile technology and Huawei being a premium brand globally, to eradicate, only to access the license might hamper the market sell.
