Today, the electric scooter giant, Yadea, has unveiled a new low-cost KS3 electric scooter with suspension for $569.
With the launch of the Yadea KS3 electric scooter, the largest two-wheel electric producer behemoth enters a whole new price and specification area. The Yadea KS3 incorporates much of the technologies created by Yadea in the past, although on a smaller scale.
Yadea’s KS3 electric scooter is designed to be easier to handle and commute with, especially for riders who need to lug it by hand to their final destination or transport it up a flight of stairs, after introducing the quicker and higher-powered but heavier KS5 and KS5 Pro electric scooters.
The foldable scooter can carry people weighing up to 100 kg, but it is only 14.8 kg in weight. The scooter’s 500W rear engine still allows it to reach speeds of 15.5 mph (25 km/h), allowing it to compete in the affordable eScooter market.
Yadea was able to install 8.5′′x2.4′′ solid tires with that integrated suspension, eliminating the need to monitor air pressure or cope with a flat tire. They’re also rated for 5,000 kilometers (3,000 miles) of wear, so they should be good for a long commute. Unlike most affordable eScooters, the Yadea KS3 comes with added features like front suspension to make the ride more comfortable.
The front drum brake is another low-maintenance component. Drum brakes, unlike disc brakes, which can pulse, warp, or require periodic tuning, require no maintenance and are sealed to protect them from road damage and weather.
Yadea KS3 is now available on Amazon for $569, alongside its larger and speedier brothers, the Yadea KS5 and Yadea KS5 Pro, for $639 and $759, respectively.
