Xiaomi started the trend of bezel-less smartphones by unveiling Mi Mix. Now Xiaomi is all geared up to launch its latest smartphone, Mi Mix 2s, at an event in China on 27 March. The Mi Mix 2 has an identical design but more compact and exciting features. Though the company did not officially reveal any information, several reports and videos have surfaced online, throwing some light on its features.
According to a newly reported video, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S seems to have a selfie camera in a small notch at the top right corner to enable a uniformly thin bezel around the screen.
Few reports claimed that the suggested smartphone would get features like Qi-standard wireless charging, ARCore, and vertical dual camera setup. It is suggested that Mi Mix 2 will come with a massive 3400mAh battery, 8GB RAM, and 256GB inbuilt storage. This mesmerizing smartphone is also said to feature 6.01- an inch OLED screen made by Samsung. It is supposed to run on Android 8 Oreo OS.
The video also showed the bottom of the screen. Here Xiaomi has gone for the iPhone X-style interface. Thus Mi Mix 2S will not feature the on-screen button, but rather rely on gestures. There might be a toggle to go back to the buttons. Earlier, the Chinese smartphone maker also confirmed that Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S will be the first Xiaomi smartphone to receive Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SOC.
