Xiaomi reveals the official teaser of its upcoming flagship Mi Mix 2S. The image revealed is of Xiaomi’s brand ambassador, Wu Yifan (Kris Wu), holding the Mi MIX 2S. The company posted the photo on its Weibo account. The images shared by the company revealed the front design, thus invalidating much of the reports about its notch display with a selfie camera.
The design as showcased in the image will not be very different from its predecessor model, Mi Mix 2. Though the image doesn’t exhibit the selfie camera, recent reports have claimed that it could be placed at the center of the bottom bezel. The company has already confirmed its highly potent Snapdragon 845 chipset, with its AI-driven dual rear cameras that will carry support slow-motion video shooting in Full HD quality.
As for its specs, the phone may feature 8 GB of RAM and a native storage of 256 GB with wireless charging enabled 3,400mAh battery and MIUI 9 flavored Android Oreo OS.
The novelty is confirmed to launch on March 27 at Shanghai. The company has released special invitations for the launch event, including special tickets to the Pompidou museum in France. Along with the invitations, Xiaomi has also prepared special celebratory tickets for Centre Pompidou. It will be giving its 10 lucky fans Beijing-Paris tickets and a trip to the Centre Pompidou.
