MIUI 9.5 carries a new feature called Full Screen Gestures that lets users control their Xiaomi phones like Mi Mix 2 and others unconventionally and with convenience. The announcement blog of the feature provides demonstrations of how it works.
With the feature, now you can swipe up from the bottom to go to the home screen from an active app. It also lets you swipe from left to right to go back to a page. Additionally, you can swipe up from the bottom to view your most recent apps that are open.
The blog clearly states: “Full Screen Gestures are an intuitive implementation that all Xiaomi users will be able to easily adapt.” Keep in mind that the Xiaomi smartphones with the full-screen display will have users enjoy this feature. This includes the likes of Redmi 5, Redmi Note 5, and others, besides Mi Mix 2.
Apart from this feature, MIUI 9.5 also brings several improvements and other features. One new feature is that of the favorites folder to group your favorite photos in one place.
Furthermore, there’s a new notification shade that groups all notifications on the by-app basis. The update as well carries an entirely redesigned Mi Music Player, an improved Mi Mover, an enhanced Mi Drop, and an updated Mi Browser. Features and timelines may vary with respect to markets.
