Xiaomi announced that its budget-friendly Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be going on sale in China on August 10, Friday. With its new teaser, Xiaomi confirms that Mi Max 3 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant will be available for sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow priced at 1,999 yuan (Rs.20, 100 approx.)
As the teaser mentions, the new Mi Max 3 has a humongous battery life. It is equipped with a large battery of 5500mAh claiming it to be the largest mobile phone with the largest battery capacity that has reverse charging capability.
As for the specification, the novelty will come with 6.9-inch 1080 x 2160 Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 84% NTSC color gamut coverage and 2.5D curved glass layer with 18:9 aspect ratios.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with an Adreno 509 GPU to handle the graphics processing. It also features a 12MP + 5MP AI dual-camera setup at the rear and an 8MP snapper on the front. The primary 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor at the rear boasts 1.4um pixel size, Dual PDAF, and a f/1.9 aperture.
To make it more luring, it is to be packed with AI-powered camera features like portrait mode and intelligent scene detection that is claimed to detect 206 different scenes. The 8MP selfie camera features 1.12um pixel size, a f/2.0 aperture along with AI Beautify, AI Portrait, and a soft LED flash. In addition, it also features the face unlock security setting.
Though the company hasn’t confirmed the launch of the novelty in India, it is expected to be priced around Rs.16,000 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. Let’s wait until it lands here.
