Twitter has announced today that it has revamped the platform’s camera feature for clicking more faster shots and easy use. The updated version that focuses on Twitter Camera is now rolling out to Twitterattis.
This new version includes big changes to enhance pictures and video on the app and encourage users to promote photo and video sharing on the platform. Twitter understands the importance of visual content, thus trying to move into TwitSnap. Swiping to the left will land you on an entirely new camera that lets you capture the media. The point to note is that, for now, the Twitter Camera doesn’t support uploads. You’ll have to capture a new photo or video.
The new Twitter Camera possesses an immersive format that places the Tweet text right before your media. This opens the opportunity to media brands and organizations to surface more visual ads in the Feed.
It is also promoting live-streaming through Periscope. With this update, Twitter is directly going to compete with popular giants like Snapchat and Instagram.
