Tesla to date was only able to fix bugs. But, the new update comes with a surprise that includes two doozies. The company came up with new updates allowing Model X owners to activate a secret light show that transforms the SUV into a four-wheeled disco ball. The process of activating Model X is simple. You simply have to press the Tesla icon that is present on the top of the screen for 5 seconds and then enter “Holiday” in the passcode screen that pops up. To quit, come out of your vehicle and lock the doors, then the X will set off its exterior lights while playing music.
The surprise does not end here. The most exciting feature of Model S and Model X is that the owners of both the vehicles can transform their vehicles into a Mars-bound feature; the one his other company, SpaceX, is building to send colonists to the red planet.
This additional feature, triggered by entering ‘Mars’ as the access code for your vehicle’s software system, will turn your in-car map to a map of the surface of Mars, and as you drive around the position of your virtual red planet rover will cross new planetary terrain, too. But, you will never actually get any closer to Mars that way. You’d need a spaceship for that.
