Nubia, a Chinese subsidiary manufacturer of ZTE, had recently announced its first smartphone with 5G connectivity. It is an update of the existing Nubia X, adapted to allow access to the fifth generation of mobile networks.
ZTE’s Sub-brand Nubia has announced its first 5G smartphone. The company has introduced 5G variants of the dual-screen smartphone Nubia X, launched last year. The Qualcomm X50 Modem is given for 5G connectivity in this smartphone coming from Nubia X5G. The company has introduced this phone to the 5G+ conference held in China.
The Nubia X 5G is equipped with Snapdragon 855 processor. The 5G logo is given with the LED flash on the phone’s rear panel. There is no change in the design of the phone.
The phone has a 6.26-inch full HD+ display, which has an Aspect ratio of 19: 9. Also, the phone has a different 5.1-inch HD+ AMOLED display. The company has given this device a different mode for protecting users’ eyes. The company has also patented the E model. For photography, the phone has a 16-megapixel primary rear camera that comes with the AI feature. This phone comes with a 24-megapixel secondary camera and a dual-tone LED flash.
In order to power this phone coming with the in-display fingerprint sensor, it has been given a batch of 3,800mAh which comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
Recently news came that Nubia is launching it’s Next Generation Gaming smartphone Nubia Red Magic 4 by the end of this year. Reports say that Nubia wants to reach the top of the gaming smartphone industry in India. The company further said that the gaming industry is expanding in India and that gaming enthusiasts have become quite sensible now. Keeping this in mind, the company plans to launch Red Magic 4 in India by the end of 2019.
In addition to this product, Nubia also quietly exhibited a brand new Snapdragon 855 “small screen flagship” – Nubia mini 5G. Nubia mini 5G is equipped with Snapdragon 855 processor and X50 5G Modem, rear 48-megapixels single camera and front 8-megapixel camera. It has fingerprint recognition at the rear and a 6+64GB memory combination, with no more detailed configuration information.
It is worth mentioning that the Nubia mini 5G adopts the traditional 18:9 full-screen design. The size of the body is similar to that of the Xiaomi 6, which is a full circle smaller than the iPhone XS MAX. It is a typical small-screen Snapdragon 855 flagship model.
