AMD has launched Athlon processor for Chromebook which will be called R7 3700C that will have 4 cores and 8 threads. It will be using the 12nm processor Zen+ architecture.
The It House has got the information that the highest specification Ryzen 7 3700C will have the above-mentioned specifications. The TDP will be of 15W and will be housing a Vega 10 core display.
The Ryzen 5 3500C also has 4 cores and 8 threads including a Vega 8 core display. The lowest specification of Ryzen 3 which is 3250C uses a 14nm Zen architecture that has dual cores and 4 threads.
AMD recently has promised to launch 6 Chromebook with new Ryzen processors and they will come in several brands like HP, Asus and Lenovo. Thus we need to wait and see what sort of processor and devices will be launched from the house of AMD and how powerful these devices will be.
