ASUS has announced the next-generation ZenBook 3 at Computex, a technology event held in Taipei. The brand new laptop is thinner than Apple’s MackBook – the next-gen ultra-sleek laptop is 11.9mm thick and weighs only 910g, whereas MackBook is 2.03lbs and 13.2mm thick; both come with a 12.5-inch display.
Looking at its strength, ZenBook 3 is built with aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, a premium material that is 50% stronger than the standard alloy used in laptops.
This ZenBook 3 delivers an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of 2133 MHz RAM, up to a 1TB PCIe Gen 3×4 SSD, a next Gen USB Type-C port, and powerful Quad-speaker audio by Harman Kardon. Its display is covered with Gorilla Glass 4 and has an innovative cooling system with the thinnest fan design at 3mm.
With an incredibly shallow keyboard, a built-in fingerprint reader with Windows Hello support gives users instant one-touch access, allowing them to sign in and unlock ZenBook 3 quickly and securely without having to type their password or PIN.
ZenBook 3 provides up to 9 hours of battery life and is available in three colors; Royal Blue, Rose Gold, and Quartz Gray. The device will be available at $999 with a Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD, and the other at $1999 with a Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and 1TB of SSD.
