Asus launched ZenBook Flip S in India, to be made available for purchase across the country’s leading retailers. Packing Windows 10, it is claimed to be the world’s thinnest and lightest 2-in-1 laptop, measuring 11.2mm thick and weighing 1.1kg.
Priced at Rs. 1,30,990, it is set to compete with ThinkPad X1 Carbon of Lenovo and MacBook Pro of Apple. The Asus ZenBook Flip S is equipped with the 8th-gen Core i7 processor of Intel, clocked at 1.8GHz and offering a turbo frequency of up to 4GHz.
The laptop does not support discrete graphics, but users can go for Intel UHD Graphics 620. Additionally, it packs 16GB RAM LPDDR3 and 512GB SATA3 SSD. It has a 13.3-inch FHD touchscreen display supporting 1920 x 1080p with an aspect ratio of 16:9.
The display features thin bezels that Asus defines as ‘NanoEdge Design.’ The device comes off with a stylus. For the highlight, the convertible design with a 360-degree hinge complemented with an aluminum chassis finish.
Two built-in USB Type C ports and fast charging support make up for other features. According to the brand, the device can take fast charging 60% in just 49 minutes, and the battery will give you life for about 11 hours on a single charge.
Supporting dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11, ZenBook Flip S also brings a built-in fingerprint scanner and Bluetooth connectivity. It furthermore offers a dual Harman Kardon-certified stereo speaker, webcam, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Being a high-end laptop, its backlight keyboard provides 1mm travel for comfortable typing. Last but not least, the touchpad has a complete glass finish.
