The Chinese company Baidu, on November 2, finally announced that the company has released the flagship version of “Baidu Cloud Mobile”, making it the company’s new flagship cloud mobile phone for individual users.
Very little details about the specifications of the new phone are known to the public. However, it is known that the flagship version of Baidu Cloud Phone, under the hood, comes with an ARM quad-core processor, and the mobile phone is expected to run on 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The information whether the internal memory could be expanded has not been made public.
The mobile phone is exclusive for the Chinese market only. As for its price, the flagship version of the Baidu Cloud Mobile comes with a variety of time packages including daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual schemes. The lowest of them, the monthly-card with validity for 30-days is priced at 77 yuan.
The Baidu Cloud Mobile was officially launched in the month of April 2020. As per the reports, the Cloud Mobile service is dependent on the public cloud and ARM virtualization technology that will provide its users with Android instances in the cloud.
The customers can remotely control cloud phones in real-time through video streaming, and finally, realize the cloud operation of Android native APP and mobile games.
The Baidu Cloud mobile phones are susceptible to cloud hosting of massive applications, content monitoring for live apps and short video apps, trial ads and live streaming of anchor mobile games, corporate remote office and simulation testing, etc.
It will certainly bring more users to Baidu’s front, and will certainly broaden the horizon for over 30 million people who already are customers of Baidu Cloud Mobile. Moreover, the version launched in April has given full coverage of the four scenarios of cloud gaming, cloud apps, cloud VR and cloud office to the Baidu Cloud Phone.
