Nokia is venturing into manufacturing smart TVs, and its first TV is a beast of 43-inches that will go on sale from June 8. The picture tweeted by Nokia showcases a brilliant thin-bezeled smart TV that offers an immersive visual experience.
The Nokia smart TV offers a picture quality with Dolby Vision and Wide Color Gamut, and DTS TruSurround Sound and Dolby Audio. The Wide Color Gamut gives a picture depth that makes the picture greener and more vivid.
The Nokia smart TV is powered by a Quad-Core Processor and Android 9.0 with a built-in Chromecast. The acoustics of the TV is tailor-made to produce signature JBL sound quality which produces minimal harmonic distortion at all ranges; additionally, it offers crystal-clear vocal tones and deep bass notes.
The smart TV is powered by Android 9.0 which gives the TV an edge in the sense that users can directly download apps from the Google Play Store with the help of the built-in Chromecast. Furthermore, the TV also comes equipped with an AI-enabled Google Assistant feature.
With the help of Google Assistant, now users can fully control the TV using just their voices. The voice control feature is one of the main attractions of a lot of smart TVs.
As mentioned before, the TV is of 43-inches and features a UHD 4K display. The display screen offers a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160. The total display size of the TV goes up to 138 cm which is 55-inches. Despite having a few generic features that smart TVs usually have, the Nokia smart TV does not offer a touch screen or even a motion sensor technology.
The smart TV market is vast and Nokia needs to up its game to give some serious competition to other smart TVs available out there. However, its price could be the deciding factor. It is only priced at INR. 31,999, and will go on sale only through Flipkart.
