The BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team participates in this year’s edition of the FIM Endurance World Championship together with a formidable partner alongside them. Champion Lubricants joins BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team as their new Technical Partner in this year’s FIM EWC.
By implication, the Belgian-based Champions Lubricants will join sides with the crew led by Werner Daeman at the track whenever they compete using the #37 BMW 1000 RR. Part of the deal involves Champion Lubricants providing the team with innovative lubricants during the competition.
Champion Lubricants is a brand of Belgium-based firm Wolf Oil Corporation, one of Europe’s leading independent manufacturers of high-quality lubricants with over six decades of expertise. The company’s product line includes over 400 products only dedicated to motorbikes.
Supply of high-performing forks, transmission oils, care products, and engine oils developed in Champion Lubricants’ R&D center and tried under highly demanding and extreme terrains make up one aspect of the partnership.
Speaking regarding the development, Yves Decay, Global Brand Manager for the lubricants’ manufacturer, highlighted their Adaptive Shield Technology, which uses specialized additives to ensure that engines perform maximally under extreme conditions, as one of their products’ merits.
Last year, BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team got their first FIM EWC win with the new BMV M 1000 RR. Finishing with second place at the end of the season, the team aims to advance in their strides with the new partnership with Champion Lubricants.
Towards this season, BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team plans to hold additional test rides with four of their riders this week.
The 2022 season of the FIM Endurance World Championship starts on the 16th/17th of April with the 24 hours of French team Le Mans. The 24 hours of Spa Francorchamps (Belgium) come afterward on the 4th/5th of June. Next is the 8 hours of Suzuka (Japan) to be held on the 7th of August, with the 24-hour race Bol d’Or at Le Castellet (France) coming on the 17th/18th of September.
