Capcom recently announced the arrival of a new game called the Monster Hunter Riders. The new game, as announced, will be available on both the Android and the iOS platforms. The game follows some of the elements of the Monster Hunter Stories, not only in terms of the aesthetic of the game, but it also follows the storyline. The characters, moreover, in this game look older, and above all, the game is free of cost.
According to the statement made on behalf of the Capcom company, the game was scheduled to go live on February 29th, 2020, but it looks like the timeline has changed a bit.
Luckily, the release date has not been pushed behind, and the Monster Hunter Rider game has gone live on 19th February 2020 on both iOS and Android platforms for free.
The storyline of the game goes something like this, the game is set in a world cohabited by both monsters and riders. The free game features some of the popular and famous monsters from the franchise like rathalos, Zinogre, and more.
Capcom had mentioned that the number of monsters would not be limited and promised that they will add more monsters further down the line with future updates.
While the game costs nothing for downloading, the app comes with in-app purchases.
Even though Capcom will likely take the game globally, the Monster Hunter Rider is now available for download in Japan only. In all probability, the game will release worldwide, especially because the Monster Hunter franchise is huge, and any franchise of this size comes with a huge number of fans.
Until the company takes the decision to release the new game globally, users will have to stick to playing the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne game.
