Introduced to the press for the first time in August 2018 during IFA Berlin, the Predator Triton 900 was presented as the company’s leading gaming notebook offering an extremely differentiated design and it is absolutely the best Gaming laptop of the year.

With its eccentric “Ezel Aero” hinge, 17-inch screen with 4K resolution, and IPS LCD technology, the device is finally highlighted by its manufacturer in more detail than it was displayed during IFA 2018, including processor used, amount of RAM, internal storage, GPU and several other features today at CES 2019, in Las Vegas.

The new Triton 900 has finally launched now and will be available to all consumers it comes with an eighth-generation Intel Core i7 six cores processor with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage on the SSD, making it a standout for graphics-intensive tasks.

Acer introduces the new Nvidia RTX 2080 with G-Sync technology inside this “compact” laptop. This idea of using the NVIDIA Series 20 GPU was in process from the time of its announcement at IFA 2018, but Acer preferred to wait until the launch of new Nvidia graphics cards to provide more details about the new Triton 900.

The laptop features an ethernet port, two Type-A 3.0 USB ports, two USB-Type C connectors (one being Thunderbolt), plus an HMDI connector on the back of the device. In the keyboard region, we see a trackpad on the right side that is also backlit and can be used as a numeric keypad.

The Triton 900 will start at a price of $3,999 for the 2-in-1 gamer laptop. It is not yet clear if the device will arrive in India, but in North America, the Triton 900 will be released in March this year.

The company also announced its “cheaper” version gaming laptop, a less expensive alternative to the Triton 900. The model 500 has been priced between $1,799 and $2,499, depending on the Nvidia graphics card RTX 2060 or RTX 2080 options. Instead of using the 4K resolution, the screen offers Full HD resolution; the Triton 500 is a 1.79 cm thick metal body and 2.08 kg weight. The laptop also offers the same eighth-generation Intel Core i7 chipset, 16 GB of memory, and 512 GB of internal storage.
