We all go through the burden of heavy browsers. Mozilla and Google Chrome bring the good news for you! They are working to reduce the amount of memory and other resources their browsers use – your device memory.
We have all noticed that browsers impose an increasing burden on our phone and laptops. It is duly because websites are getting bigger and browsers are improved with features that make them more like an operating system rather than mere document viewers.
And considering such problems Chrome 68 has been added with a new feature called the Page Lifecycle interface that will let the browsers more gracefully pause websites that aren’t active and reconstitute them when you need them again. The new feature allows the browser to optimize the system resources as a result of benefitting the web users.
Firefox has its own feature named Fission MemShrink designed in a way to cut off 7MB of each hundred or more computing processes that the browser uses, to draw a website on your screen.

Hence Fission MemShrink is designed in a way to reduce memory usage with more improvised processes that will deliver high performance and security to its users.
Page Lifecycle adopts a strategy from mobile phones, whose underlying operating systems are aggressive about clamping down on apps to preserve resources and protect battery life. We are thus hopeful that this new feature will provide us with better performance and better integration with mobile and laptop devices.
