In recent years, the connection between smartphones and cars is getting higher and higher. Most cars now support mobile phone unlocking and remote control for providing more convenience for car owners.

Last year, OPPO and Tesla China entered into a partnership agreement to manufacture digital car keys, which are now adapted to all versions of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y.

However, in a bid to continue with the technology trend, Vivo has officially announced today that the Vivo digital car key has been deeply adapted to Weilai cars, and the car can be unlocked by the mobile phone close to the car. The OPPO digital key is the first to adapt to a variety of NIO models, and the OPPO Find N2 series folding flagsship will be supported for the first time.

The phone is compatible with models from the vivo X, vivo S, iQOO flagship, iQOO Neo, iQOO Z, and NEX series. The NIO APP must be upgraded to V5.13.0 or higher, and the Android version must be updated to 10.0 or higher. NIO ET7, ET5, ES7, EC7, and more recent models have been modified, while additional recently released models are still being actively modified.

Along with Weilai, OPPO also disclosed that it had adapted to Tesla and Xiaopeng Motors; Huawei formed an agreement with numerous manufacturers to profoundly enhance the manufacturing of automobiles; and Xiaomi made it official that it would produce cars. Just vivo hasn’t moved about much, but it’s only now starting to do something.

Meanwhile, other automakers, like NIO, have said they will produce phones as well. Weilai’s first mobile phone could be released this year, as per prior rumours. Weilai co-founder and president Qin Lihong has previously stated that the company’s mobile phones will begin internal testing in the second quarter of this year and be formally introduced to the public in the third.

The new device has a square screen and is marketed as a flagship. The founder of Weilai, Li Bin, once predicted that the Weilai smartphone would have the best compatibility with the Weilai car and that it will collide with the latter to provide more intelligent games.
