Dell subsidiary Alienware is upgrading the models in its X series of slim notebooks. It introduced the new X14 series gaming notebook at the 2022 CES. The latest laptop has become the thinnest laptop of Alienware, with a thickness of 0.57 inches. The machine is solely designed for people who are not good at hauling heavy products.
An official post from Alienware on Weibo reads,” [Countdown to the debut of new members of the X series: 4] Thinner, more possibilities. Alienware x14, so thin.” Users comparing the new laptop to Razer blade 14 state that Razer blade 14 is better than X14, but the weight of both laptops is similar. However, the company claims it is the smallest gaming laptop to date, and it is expected that the company will announce the listing information in 4 days. As per previous reports, the Alienware X14 is equipped with Intel’s latest 12th Gen processors with an optional Core i7-12900H and i7-12700H chipset.
It has Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card and wields a maximum performance of 85W only possible after the dynamic boost takes its part in the machine. The machine will feature DDR5 RAM clocked at a maximum frequency of 5,200MHz, considerably more significant than existing gaming notebooks.
Further, you cannot add the RAM externally to the device since the internal RAM has already been solidified under the hood; perhaps you wouldn’t need it anyway; and also, you can change or swap the single M.2 slot with up to a 2TB M.2 SSD. Coming to the display specifications, the Dell Alienware features a polished 14-inch full HD display with a color gamut of 100% DCI-P3. Besides, the Alienware X14 is delicately designed for gamers; it’s hard to make a debate about its body design and portability since no argument couldn’t be undertaken.
The new powerful yet smallest machine is expected to make a debut sometime near the end of January 2022 or early February for $1799 (Rs.1,33,949), which is not far from affordable.
