Dell India on Friday launched a 14-inch 2-in-1 laptop in its Latitude 7000 series at a starting price of Rs 1,35,000. Dell has presented its new Latitude 7400, convertible 2-in-1 thanks to its hinge that allows him to change its form from Laptop to tablet, and with support to take full advantage of the technical specifications included.
The form factor of the Latitude 7400 is striking, but nothing new. However, what can be considered as new in the segment is the presence of a sensor dedicated to detecting the user and automatically unlocking the device. When the user is not there, the blocking is also automatic.
This feature, combined with Windows Hello, builds the foundations of where this device is headed: to professionals. On the other hand, the great work in reducing frames (Dell presumes that it is the smallest 14-inch notebook in the market) positions it as a striking option for the design segment.
Regarding its technical specifications, the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 has a 14-inch touch panel with Full HD resolution, 8th generation Intel Core processors, up to 16 GB of RAM, and 2 TB of storage, with a variant that integrates LTE for connectivity on the road.
Other features include an infrared camera for Windows Hello and a fingerprint sensor, both optional components, two ports USB 3.1 type A, two ports Thunderbolt 3, SD memory reader, NFC, and a battery that depending on use, promises up to 24 hours of autonomy. All laptops support up to 32 GB of memory and up to 20 hours of execution time in selected configurations, which is up to 25% more than the previous generation.
It assures 24 hours of battery life thanks to an innovative ‘Super Low Power Panel‘ from Dell. The ExpressCharge function returns, which can charge 80 percent of the battery in an hour and remain functional for several business days. The Latitude 7400 is made of machined aluminum and has diamond-cut edges. It is 25% smaller than the previous ones and weighs only 3 pounds.
