Facebook went down! This planet’s largest social media site went down on Tuesday evening for some time. Many visitors of facebook.com were greeted by error pages with the message:
Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it and will get fixed as soon as we can.
Users of the popular social media platform started noticing the issue after 8.30 P.M IST and the outage stayed for a couple of mins. Users on both desktop and mobile witnessed the same issue. We checked the Facebook downtime report for last 24 hours and could see most of the incidents reported after 8 P.M IST. A smaller number of users experienced difficulties while accessing the website and tweeted on another social media site Twitter.
We tried to measure the depth of the outage in services like Down Detector and in last 24 hours, we could see the maximum number of reports have been submitted after 8 P.M by the Facebook users.
Outage Report’s map highlighted India as the most affected areas of the outage.
Although, there is no official confirmation of the unknown technical glitch of the recent breakdown of the Facebook website. We could not even confirm the details on the Facebook Developer status page since it is still showing – Facebook Platform is Healthy. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
