Chinese smartphone maker Huawei’S P20 Pro may lose its unique position of being one of the few phones with a triple rear camera. The South Korean tech giant Samsung recently unveiled that its flagship Galaxy A7 will feature three cameras at the back.
Huawei’s P20 Pro had been topping all charts with its triple snapper on its rear glass case and was unanimously voted to have the best smartphone camera taking photography to “master level.” It is a combination of a 40MP color lens with f/1.8 aperture, a 20MP monochrome with f/1.6 aperture, and an 8MP zoom lens with f/2.4 aperture.
Samsung Galaxy A7 is expected to have a 24MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and autofocus along with a depth-sensing 5MP secondary camera with a fixed focal length and f/2.2 aperture. The third camera is an added ultra-wide lens with a field-of-view of 120° and an f/2.4 aperture. Both the phones feature a jaw-dropping 24MP front camera.
Going by statistics, P20 Pro is still quite far ahead of its Galaxy counterpart, especially in equipping a monochrome lens and judging by pixels. If we go by Samsung’s offer, the triple camera set-up allows the user to capture a massive array of different shots, including wide-angle photos, better images in low light, and add DSLR-style depth of field. Add to all that, the firm’s intelligent Scene Optimizer allows the camera to categorize your subject as it adjusts the color, contrast, and brightness to optimize image quality instantly. However, it is difficult to guess until Galaxy A7 is released and reviewed.
Among other features, Galaxy A7 exceeds expectations in its 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity type with Full HD+ screen resolution display, which comes with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The body will comprise curved glass on both the front and rear sides. The phone is to be powered by an octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and is supposedly powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 645 or 710. Galaxy A7 comes with massive internal storage of 64GB and memory expandable up to 512GB. Galaxy A line being a mid-range series, the phone will be priced around Rs 25,000.
