Samsung is all set to host the “Galaxy Unpacked” event, scheduled to take place on September 23 which will introduce the company’s upcoming smartphones such as Galaxy Note 20 or the Galaxy Z Fold 2. However, it is likely that the tech giant will try to shift the focus on to the new Galaxy S20 Fan Edition.
Ahead of its launch, a leakster, Evan Blass, took to Twitter to introduce the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE case design. The photos posted by Blass show that the first-part phone cases are transparent all-through.
The one thing that strikes out the most about what seems like a generic transparent mobile case is that towards the lower region of the rear end of the case, there is a small rectangular slab, made of presumably stainless steel. It fits perfectly into the case itself, but which could be coaxed out of its place to balance the smartphone on its side.
Basically, it is a glorified smartphone stand incorporated into the case of the smartphone, making it easier for the users to watch something on the smartphone. As for the smartphone Galaxy S20 FE, under the hood, it features Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy S20 FE features a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone also features a 4500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, and wireless charging support, and bears the IP68 certification for being water-resistant.
The back of the smartphone is housed to a triple camera setup which consists of a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical and 30x digital zoom. The smartphone is likely to be available in red, dark blue, pink, and mint green colour options.
