Rotating Triple Camera with 48MP
Claiming to feature the world’s first rotating triple camera with 48MP, the Galaxy A80 “enables users to capture the world just as one sees it.”
The 48MP main camera offers vivid, high-quality images both in the day and at night, along with recording 4K UHD videos.
The Ultra-Wide angle lens with a 123-degree field of vision, which can be used for both front and rear, helps capture super slow-mo and ultra-wide photos and videos.
The Galaxy A80’s 3D Depth camera allows users to capture both Live Focus photos and videos.
The Super Steady mode reduces video shake so as to offer smooth and effortless capturing of content.
The camera setup also contains intelligent camera features to provide the perfect shot, such as Scene Optimizer that can recognize and boost up to 30 scenes, and Flaw Detection that can automatically identify glitches even before the picture is captured.
In the selfie mode, the triple camera setup slides up and rotates, and the same set of cameras are also put to use in this mode, thereby maintaining content quality.
New Infinity Display
The Galaxy A80 comes with Samsung’s first New Infinity Display featuring the 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen.
The New Infinity Display, aided by the rotating camera setup, provides a near bezel-less screen for the maximum enjoyment of viewing content in vivid detail.
Adding to the immersive entertainment factor is the Galaxy A80’s Dolby Atmos that offers 360-degree surround sound.
Samsung Pay
The Galaxy A80 comes equipped with Samsung Pay, secured by military-grade Knox security through which users can pay in places that support Samsung Pay.
Performance
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy A80 comes with a storage of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory, a Samsung One UI interface based on Android, and a battery capacity of 3,700mAh with 25W Super-Fast Charging technology.
