The new Genesis G70 has finally revealed it’s modified and refreshed design matching its brethren, whose launch will presumably happen in 2021.
Adapting the G80’s fascia having quad headlights and a pentagonal grille, it is now an amalgam of its preceding models with better design and equipment. However, the alteration is minor and leaves the interior unchanged.
Design:
1. G80’s Fascia:
With this new inclusion, G70 has incorporated a much shorter yet wider main grille while the lower grille features better with outboard units making it less cluttered and a simplified model.
2. Size and Shape:
We find the sides unaltered. However, a new front fender is added to it. The earlier large chrome-adorned vents are now substituted by simple openings. However, there is an absence of a turn signal light in the new G70 when compared to its earlier models. The shape on the other hand is close to its earlier model apart from the additional Quad taillights.
3. Interior:
We don’t get to see many changes when it comes to the interior. However, for the purposes of infotainment, we do come across a 10.25-inch display and a new Genesis-specific interface. There have not been much of mechanical changes incorporated into this new G70 model but presumably, we might find other additional features like:
The new turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder will enable 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque in the new Kia Stinger. But what we are definitely going to miss out on, is the manual transmission in this new G70.
There have been no further details other than the gradual revelation beginning with a series of pictures to these basic details. For further information, Genesis confirms to announce the official pricing and details of the launch by the next month.
