Gionee, the Chinese mobile manufacturing company, announced its new device Gionee S9 some days ago. No more information was provided until the date, but Gionee just released a new teaser poster of its upcoming smartphone. The teaser shows that Gionee S9 would feature a front flash, making the selfies clearer.
Gionee S9 will be the Gionee’s first phone to come up with dual cameras and fat focus. It will be available in two colors, namely Black and Golden. A render has been posted on the Chinese social network Weibo giving detailed specifications of the Gionee S9.
The render showing the Black variant of S9 from both sides, front and back, has chamfered edges, making its grip stronger. It has the volume and power button placed on the right side, and it also has a home button which, when double, works as a fingerprint scanner. The front camera and the speaker can be seen at the top.
A Gionee logo is placed below the dual camera, which looks like a fingerprint sensor too, but it’s not. According to the TENAA listing, it comes with two camera sensors of 13 MP + 5 MP as the main camera setup and a front shooter of 13 MP for selfies.
Gionee S9 will sport 5.5 inches full HD 1080p display and is powered by a 1.8 GHz / 2.0 GHz Octa-core processor with 4 GB of RAM. And it comes with 64 GB of internal storage with expandable storage support. The device is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery and is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
