The official launch of Goat Simulator in 2014 resulted in an unforeseen success and a much larger player base than assumed. As a result, the game’s direct sequel was announced in early June. Coffee Stain studios recently revealed the official launch date for Goat Simulator 3 and a special edition with a trailer.

Goat Simulator consequently received average reviews across the board but persisted in being well-liked by fans, selling more than 2.5 million units in its first year. Despite being widely played, the game was criticized when it first came out for experiencing bugs that made the game unplayable and generally having glitchy gameplay.

Goat Simulator 3 release date and gameplay

This year’s Summer Games Fest saw the surprising showcase of Goat Simulator 3. It will be released on consoles and PC on November 17 according to a Thursday announcement by Coffee Stain Publishing.

Goat Simulator 3 is a direct sequel to Goat Simulator from 2014, featuring a vast open-world setting featuring the lovely island of San Angora where players can play as Pilgor the goat and have fun and essentially cause mayhem.

There are presently two pre-order editions of the game available for goat fans: the Digital Downgrade Goat Simulator 3 Edition, which also contains part of the remastered material from the first game, and the Pre-Udder Goat Simulator 3 Edition, which comes with additional equipment for in-game play.

The physical copy of the Goat In A Box Edition has the same content as the digital version along with loads of adorable extras, including a plush Goat, a special Goat box, a steel book, three postcards, double-sided posters, and more.
