Godzilla Singular Point will make its way outside of Japan and is soon coming to Netflix. One of the most anticipated anime releases this year is perhaps the new Godzilla anime with Netflix, and the platform has also set a new Summer release window. NX recently revealed the trailer for the upcoming anime series.
The anime series will be launched globally outside of Japan on Netflix this June. By releasing the new trailer with all of its anime glory, Netflix has confirmed the launch window. The trailer itself is something that needs to be talked about. As is the case with any trailer, the Godzilla Singular Point also gives its audience a glimpse into the plot of the story, and an overall idea of what is going to take place. The series is a joint venture of studio Bones and studio Orange and is directed by Atsushi Takahashi.
Thee cast of Godzilla Singular Point includes the likes of Yume Miyamoto, Shoya Ishige, Taro Kikuchi, Wataru Takagi, Ayako Takeuchi, Misaki Kuno, Rie Kugimiya, Yohei Azakami, Jin Urayama, Kotori Koiwai, Kenichi Suzumura, Kaho Kouda, Ryotaro Okiayu, Runa Onodera, Tomoyuki Shimura, Hiromichi Tezuka, Masako Isobe, and Kenta Miyake.
The anime is available in Japanese, but hopefully, with the global launch, English subtitles for the same will be available. Netflix officially describes Godzilla Singular Point as such, “Godzilla Singular Point is an all-new animated TV series that marks the beginning of a new project for Godzilla, one of Japan’s most iconic characters. This anime series unfolds over 13 episodes to tell a new and original story unlike anything seen in the Godzilla franchise before.”
Besides being excited about the launch of the anime series, it is also worth mentioning that the Godzilla Singular Point features new kaiju designs from the Studio Ghibli animator Eiji Yamamori and Kazue Kato from the Blue Exorcist.
