As Twitter posts of Xbox Support, apparently some Xbox Live members in the US and UK are struggling to join other Xbox Live players in online games. An issue that has been addressed and picked by Xbox Support and has been resolved as well.
Independent service tracker DownDetector showed a significant rise in reports into the morning from COD. Last night a small spike started up again in the followed-up afternoon.

Infinity War is in there making a fix as it may well be that. Similarly Xbox Live had a big spike in issues the morning and soon reports started spiking again as of in the afternoon. However, to all game freaks out there the issue has been soon resolved.
Well, it seems that Xbox has taken to the issue seriously and immediate action has been taken by the engineers resolving the problem as fast as they could. On the contrary, Xbox has tweeted a followed up status saying that the issue has been resolved and players can again sign in as regular.
