Engadget reports that on January 30, Google and HTC announced that the 1.1 billion US dollars of transactions had been successfully done. Zeroing in on the details, HTC’s Pixel design team of approximately 2000 people is to collaborate with Google, with patents plugged in on both sides.

However, this transaction would not come in the way of HTC’s launch of its own products, and if external reports are to be believed, then HTC is slated to roll out its new Snapdragon 845 flagship U12 powered with a 4K display in the fall of spring this year.

A part of the Google hardware staff further reported that their goal is to accomplish Apple’s height and technological edge, which has its exclusive SoC products and CPU/GPU built by their specialized research and development. Therefore, Pixel would no longer be dependent on Qualcomm, and Google would enable faster, longer, and more efficient software updates for older products.

Furthermore, on Pixel 2, Google helped Intel build a Visual Core chip with inbuilt 8 core IPU with Android 8.1 upgrade, Cortex A53, LPDDR4, PCle, and other such modules, and HDR+ for the camera on the phone. This chip perspective indicates future challenges for the global market base of Qualcomm’s chip which might be a game-changing point for the older Qualcomm in 2017, for the rival Apple and Broadcom’s acquisition of Qualcomm.

To add to this, Pixel 3 is anticipated to be launched in September, and the pre-installed Android P (Andrews 9.0) system in October.
