The launch is set! Google is all set to launch the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones next month, and it’s no secret. We have also got glimpses of how the devices will look, thanks to a plethora of leaks we’ve seen over the past few months. Well, the devices are not the only things that have leaked, with the latest being an accessory that Google could be launching at the same time.

From what we know so far, the devices can be expected to carry some high-end features and specifications. One of the key differences this time is said to be support for wireless charging, for which Google is rumored to introduce a new wireless charger dubbed the Pixel Stand. While we have recently come across more information about the device, a new render image of the wireless charger has emerged online now, further giving us a better idea of what it could look like.

The image leaked renders that it will hold the phone at an angle to accommodate the Smart Display function. Basically, while they are docked, the Pixel phones will display a different UI, one focused on at-a-glance info and easy-to-hit buttons. The Google Assistant will be front and center.

The Pixel Stand leaks compliments that have been making their way around the internet of a new Google Assistant UI. The new UI for the Smart Display will have larger buttons and easy shortcuts that will make actions reachable, such as making calls, playing music, and interacting with the UI.

Well, the Nexus 4 wasn’t quite the first phone to support wireless charging, but it was a very early example, and Google quickly dropped the technology, and not long after that, it became a staple of flagships.

The Google Pixel Stand is a wireless charger rather than featuring a specific USB Type-C connector. The base is simply a method of keeping the device steady while it is in its upright position. The animation of the Pixel shows off some of the notifications and how they’d work. Messages, calendar appointments, and even music notifications flash up in a large Display.

This confirms that the new yet-to-launch devices will support wireless charging and fast charging, unlike their predecessors. This is indeed good news for many Pixel users.
