Honda to Unveil Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem at 2017 Consumer Electronics show

Japanese automobile giant Honda announced that it would showcase its new “Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem” launch at the 2017 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) to be held in Las Vegas from 5-8 January 2017. The company will be exhibiting at the event and unveiling the future technology at a press conference on January 5, 2017, at 11:00 am PST.

Honda focuses on advancements in automated vehicles, connectivity, and ultra-low carbon mobility, and the company is also testing advanced automated vehicle technologies in Japan and North America. The future of automobiles is moving towards self-driving capability with interactive and impressive design, and Honda is no longer behind compared to other global automobile giants.

The exhibit will include the NeuV, a concept automated EV commuter vehicle equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) called “emotion engine” that creates new possibilities for human interaction and new value for customers for the future technology system.

The company is also planning to collaborate with startup companies and global brands, which will create more future productivity and new technology with an enjoyable mobility experience.

On January 5, 2017, the Honda press conference at CES will feature a keynote address from Yoshiyuki Matsumoto, President and CEO of Honda R&D Co., Ltd, who will unveil a concept motorcycle demonstrating an application of the company’s robotics technology.
