HTC on Wednesday launched a new smartphone in India called Wildfire X. HTC Wildfire X is supposed to go on sale in India on and from August 22 through Flipkart. The starting price range for this smartphone would be Rs. 9,999.
However, the top end of this branch would be available at the price of Rs. 12,999. The sale of HTC smartphones has undergone a drastic change with the continuous rising competition in the market. HTC is planning to lure in customers with lucrative offers.
HTC has partnered with Vodafone Idea to offer its customers 0.5 GB data per day for 18 months. This would not be the first time that a smartphone company has partnered with a telecom company to boost its sales.
Apple had also partnered with Airtel offering some lucrative deals. Existing Vodafone Idea customers will get Rs. 75×70 (Rs 3,750) Coupons in via MyVodafone/MyIdea (MVA/MIA) App. Once a customer recharges with Rs. 255 using the MVA/MIA, the user can redeem Rs. 75.
HTC Wildfire X comes with a new security measure app called “Mybuddy”. This feature will let the user not only share their real-time location but also they will be able to record and transmit sound/video of the surrounding in real-time. Apart from sharing the location, it could also trigger an alarm. Wildfire X is equipped with a 2x optical zoom.

HTC Wildfire X features a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS display. In terms of camera, it houses a triple camera on its rear end. The cameras are of 12 MP primary sensor, 8 MP 8x hybrid zoom, and 5 MP depth sensor. On the front of the camera is an 8 MP wide-angle 86-degree selfie camera.
The smartphone runs on an octa-core processor with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32 GB/128 GB storage. The memory can be expanded up to 256GB using the hybrid sim slot. The smartphone runs on the 3,300mAh battery which comes with 10W charging support.
