After quite a success with the Zepp E smartwatch, Huami has proceeded and ultimately claimed the FCC certification with an FCC id 2AWQ5A1934, as well as an application number SHEM2007006288CR.
This confirms an upcoming smartwatch gadget that will be launched under the flagship of Zepp as the Zepp Z.
Although not much has resurfaced about either the date of launch or the type of smartwatch, guessing from its preceding model, Zepp E, it is assumed that the model might also be a sports watch, for Huami has gained immense popularity across the globe.
The Zepp E model specifies a square shape as well as a round dial, featuring SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking, heart-rate monitoring. It also has a 1.65 inch AMOLED display with varying screen resolution and 326 ppi pixel density. It also has a 5 ATM water resistance with 188 mAh battery.
From the above specification, we can assume that the Zepp Z edition might come with a modified sporty design. There are no further details on it apart from the fact that it might take about six months from now to make its launch.
Till then all we can do is wait for the upcoming details to resurface about the Zepp Z model of the smartwatch.
