Huawei quietly launched the 4G version of the already available Mate 40 Pro and Mate X2 on its official website on April 23rd 2021. Although both the smartphones come with 4G configurations, there has been almost no change in their specs and details.

The most important aspect of the smartphone, the processor for the newly launched Mate 40 Pro and the Mate X2 remains the same. The chip for the smartphone still is Kirin 9000 chip but it’s a 4G version. Although Huawei launched the smartphones on its website, the Chinese tech giant has not disclosed the information regarding the pricing. However, since the smartphones are the 4G version, it is expected that the pricing should be lower than its 5G variant.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro runs on Kirin 9000 chip. As for its appearance, it comes with a 6.76-inch curved screen and supports both 3D face recognition and under-display fingerprint unlocking. Moreover, the smartphone also features a dual selfie camera. On its back, it comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of 50 MP, f/1.9, 23mm (wide), a 12 MP, f/3.4, 125mm (periscope telephoto) with 5x optical zoom, and 20 MP with f/1.8 aperture.

The Huawei Mate X2 also comes with a Kirin 9000 chip. The main camera, for this smartphone, comes with a 50 MP lens, 12 MP shooter, 8 MP lens, and a 16MP shooter. Moreover, the Huawei Mate X2 comes with a dual-screen design; both the screens support a high refresh rate of 90Hz, along with DCI-P3 wide color gamut. Among the two screens, the 8-inch folding inner screen comes with an ultra-high resolution of 2480 x 2200. On the other hand, the outside screen is of 6.45-inches which offers a resolution of 2700 x 1160. The refresh rate of the screen for the Mate X2 goes up to 240Hz.
