Huawei has launched a new smartphone called the Nova 5Z as a part of the Nova 5 series. The Nova 5Z looks similar to the previous Nova 5i Pro in terms of appearance. The smartphone’s dimension consists of 156.1x 73.9 x 8.3 mm and it weighs only 178 grams.
The smartphone features a 6.26 inch LCD display screen which comes with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080x 2340 pixels. Most of the smartphones available on the market feature either a water-drop or a punch-hole display on top of the display screen.
Huawei with the Nova 5z is following in the same path except the punch hole that is situated on the upper left corner of the display. The Huawei Nova 5Z houses a spectacular 32 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Nova 5z runs on the 7nm Kirin 810 chipset and comes with 6 GB of RAM. The smartphone is available in two storage variants, 64 GB and 128 GB. It runs on the Android 9 Pie OS and has built-in support for GPU Turbo.
The rear side of the smartphone comes with a quad-camera set-up, a 48-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel superwide angle with f/2.4 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Some features of the camera include AI handheld super night scene, portrait mode, wide-angle distortion correction and more.
Huawei Nova 5Z front camera supports portrait night scenes with which the user can take good quality photos even in low light. The 4,000 mAh battery supports 20 W fast charging. The rear side of the smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner.
The Huawei Nova 5Z smartphone will go on sale on and from 1st November 2019. The 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage space variant is priced at 1599 yuan and the 8GB RAM + 128 GB storage space variant is priced at 1,700 yuan. The smartphone will be available in Black, Blue, and Green colors.
