This year, Huawei announced its high-end P30 series, consisting of three models. The Huawei P30 falls between the even more advanced P30 Pro and the cheaper P30 Lite. The smartphone has a small notch with a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
There is also a triple Leica camera integrated at the rear. The device is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED display and a 3.650 mAh battery that supports fast charging. In the Netherlands, you can buy the Huawei P30 in three colors: Black, Aurora and Breathing Crystal.
New colors for Huawei P30
Two new design patents show that the Chinese manufacturer is considering announcing additional colors for its Huawei P30 smartphone. The two patents were filed with the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) on 28 May 2019, after which the design patents were published on 23 August 2019.
The first model shows a variant of the Breathing Crystal color scheme. The lower part of the smartphone is in fact the same as the Breathing Crystal model, but the top has a slightly different color scheme; light blue. This does not seem to be sensitive to light. The separation between the two-color lights directly under the camera system.
The second design patent also shows a Huawei P30 with two colors. This time the top side is black and the bottom side gray. This patent was applied simultaneously with the other patent. There is a good chance that the Chinese manufacturer intends to announce the new colors at IFA 2019.
Finally, a month later, the Huawei Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro are also expected, which are high-end smartphones.
Huawei applies this strategy more often. For example, Its P20 series was announced early last year, after which the company released four new color variants in August, in preparation for IFA 2018. Two of them had a leather texture. The IFA 2019 will start on September 6, 2019, in Berlin, Germany.and the Consumer electronics fair will last until 11 September 2019.
