Hyundai IONIQ 7 Renderings Exposed: Resembles the Outlook of 7 Concepts

Seoul-based car-making firm Hyundai has been reinforcing their vehicles in recent years; perhaps, the figures of sales throughout the years have been gradually hopped fortunately compared with previous year’s statistics.

Amidst the pandemic, everything seemed implausible; however, the industry is slowly picking up its scale. Hyundai IONIQ’s previous models reached customers mainly because of their efficiency and affordability, with the IONIQ 5 Hyundai. Getting potential customers is an important automobile market around the globe, particularly in the US; with a warm welcome, Hyundai is now focusing on bringing more EVs to the market. Recently, reliable foreign media revealed the rendering of Hyundai’s new medium-sized SUV model, IONIQ 7. The new model should be deliberately inspired by Hyundai’s Seven Concept, which was unveiled at the Los Angeles recently Auto Show.

Judging from the rendering, the designer desires to hold on to the anterior style framework on the Hyundai IONIQ 7 inspired from the concept car; as we could see in the renderings, the sharp, penetrating light strip, closed anterior design resembles the shield of a warrior, and we could also see the lower two verticals LED light and the display screen in the center of the array, and wrapping plastic body cladding and a sturdy front bumper for a more robust appearance. Turbine aero wheels are also inspired by the concept car on the IONIQ 7.

We might not need the same structure from the firm. Indeed are some different parts to note; essentially, the sketch of the concept car is considered a bit innovative as we could see the slim B/C pillar, which could be restructured and retextured on the IONIQ 7. We hope Hyundai wouldn’t make many changes in the forthcoming models, albeit we couldn’t witness the rear of the IONIQ 7. Still, we believe that the production car won’t follow the traces of the concept car; instead, it could be more traditional.

Just in case the IONIQ 7 adopts the elements of the concept car thoroughly, at the time of its mass production in 2024, it should not embrace the interior design and outlying parts of the concept car. With techniques and outlooks out of the way, IONIQ 6 IONIQ 7 might be developed using a global modular electric platform with 800V voltage and 350kW DC blazingly fast charging capability. It would only take 20 minutes to set the power from 10% to 80%. The maximum mileage can surpass 483km. According to Hyundai Motor’s blueprints for forthcoming years, the company expected to release mid-size sedan “IONIQ 6” in 2022, and the mid-size SUV “IONIQ 7” with three rows of seats will be launched in 2024.
