A new photo shared by Hyundai Motor today, Wednesday, shows the carmaker’s new Grandeur sedan is on the way. According to the auto giant, the new Grandeur sedan went on sale in November as a hybrid model in Korea.

In Korea, the 2017 Hyundai Azera is marketed as the Grandeur and has four engine options, including Autogas, which is presently the only alternative fuel option available, while the other three variations are powered by gasoline and diesel.

New Grandeur Sedan Design

According to Hyundai Motor, the seventh-generation Grandeur continues the design heritage of the first-generation Grandeur, which was launched in 1986. For consumers in the commercial category, a 3.0-liter LPG-powered engine version with 235 PS and 28.6 kg/m (280.47 Nm) of torque is offered.

Both an 8-speed automatic and 6-speed manual transmission are available. The new Grandeur is 10 mm longer and 5 mm wider than its predecessor, measuring 4,930 mm in length, 1,865 mm in width, 1,470 mm in height, and having a 2,845 mm wheelbase.

Grandeur Sedan Boost Technological Edge: Hyundai Motor

Speaking on the new Grandeur sedan, Woong Chul Yang, the Vice Chairman of Hyundai Motor Company and Head of the R&D Centre, said it is equipped with a host of new safety features, boosting its technological edge.

“The luxury sedan is also equipped with a host of new safety features, boosting its technological edge, Said Woong Chul Yang. The All-new Azera is born with Hyundai Motor’s ceaseless endeavour to innovate toward utter perfection while inheriting 30 years of brand heritage from its predecessors.”

Grandeur Sedan Pricing and Availability

However, it should be noted that the Grandeur is one of Hyundai’s best-selling vehicles in the Korean market, as seen by the 27,000 pre-orders they have already received in the last three weeks. From 30.55 million (25,000 euros) to 38.7 million won, prices are offered (31,000 euros).

Meanwhile, the new Grandeur sedan is expected to be priced within the range of 33.9million and 37.8million. According to the auto brand, the new vehicle will be launched in the Korean market in November and will be available starting in the last quarter of the year. Follow TechGenyz for more updates.
